Meet Carol

Carol completed her optometry studies at the University of Melbourne, and has been working as an optometrist for over 15 years. She has worked in both metropolitan and regional settings, from Frankston to Esperance, providing communities with evidence-based eye care.

She understands that eye health goes beyond updating your glasses prescription - it's about understanding your needs and taking a personalised approach to protecting and maintaining your vision. Her commitment extends to working with fellow health professionals, to ensure continuity of care, and providing affordable and accessible care to the community.

Referral is not required to visit, though an eye report will be provided to your GP or specialists where appropriate to ensure you receive coordinated care.

Frequently asked questions

Yes, we provide routine eye tests to help monitor and maintain your eye health. Our comprehensive exams check for any changes in your vision and can detect early signs of eye conditions.

During an eye exam, your optometrist will check your vision and eye health. This typically includes reading an eye chart, measuring eye pressures, and assessing the health of your eyes through various tests. The optometrist will address any concerns you may have.

It's recommended to have an eye exam every 1-2 years, depending on your age, health, and risk factors. If you have certain health conditions, such as diabetes or a family history of eye diseases, more frequent exams may be necessary.

No, you do not need a referral to have an eye test. You can schedule an appointment directly with us at any time via the Book Online button, located on the top right of this page, or call 9687 2271 to speak with one of our receptionists.

Yes, bulk billing is available for standard eye test for Medicare card holders. If you have any questions, please contact us.

We don't sell spectacles directly, but we happily provide prescriptions so you can purchase your eyewear from a provider of your choice.
